With the deadline rapidly approaching and no signs if RP life on the RP board wondering do I need to extend the deadline one week? Or is everyone about to bumrush the board on Friday evening?

I think the new deadline will just take more preparation on my part. Being completely honest I usually don’t have too much time to write during the week so usually have to write mine on the weekend. With moving the deadline to Friday’s I’m going to need to find time to write during the week days. So long story short yes I will most likely be posting late on Friday evening.

I know I'm not on this card but I always enjoyed when deadlines landed on a weekend (preferably Sunday's) since I have weekends off and work 4-5 days during the week.

I have to say that Friday deadlines are awful for me as well, considering two other feds I'm on have Friday deadlines too. Going to find way to do RP's a day before deadline going forward.

I agree the old deadline gave me two weekends to write. Moving it to Friday cut it to one. which is only a few days after the card goes up and I haven’t gotten my ideas ready yet. |

Since the convo went slightly astray, deadline won't be extended for this cycle and will remain as TONIGHT at 1159PM Pacific Standard Time.
Also any oncards/segments are due no later than Saturday night at 1159pm Pacific Standard Time.

We decided to move the deadline to Friday because of Tate's work schedule which wasn't allowing us time to get results done and up on time. He's off weekends so it would allow us ample time to write the shows so that results wouldn't come out late. The next card will be in two weeks and deadlines will continue to be Fridays. I just so happened that to get this new deadline going and keep Helloweeen in October this RP cycle had to be shortened a little.
Also with a holiday next weekend in Canada (Thanksgiving) I wouldn't have been around much to help him where needed and I wasn't going to do that to him. So put the blame on me.

no one should be blaming anyone or taking the blame for things they cant control. WE have nearly 2 weeks to rp if results are up on time so if results on sunday work for the writers, I say its a good time to have deadline on fridays. people have a weekend in between to work on it or try to take a few minutes here and there during the week to get it started.
if the card is posted by the very next monday after results, then thats nearly 12 days to get it done.
Unless you're a procrastinator like myself XD
