Icon Aaron Kostan has become a staple of IPW Television, missing only two shows since IPW's inception in the summer of 2018. His third will be Chaos on October 7th. Of course the internet was immediately abuzz with fears of injury after the former champion, who missed all of January with a chest injury, was not listed on the most recent card.
Reports now suggest, however, that the absence of "The Artist" is not essential to his physical health, but perhaps his emotional health. It seems that Aaron asked for, and was granted time off following his loss to "The Iconic Queen" Astrid Samson.
It is worth noting that in his most recent promo Aaron seemed rather uncertain of who exactly he wanted to be in IPW. He could be taking time off to re-calibrate. Regardless, while IPW has plenty of talent in the main event scene, it will be missing one of its consistent top stars for the foreseeable future. At this time there is no indication of when he will return to in-ring action, only that he intends to in the near future, most likely before the end of 2019.
