It has all but been confirmed that Joshua Samson, Esquire, managing-member of the group that owns Iconic Professional Wrestling, has managed to secure a television broadcast deal with Cartoon Network. Although no specifics have been released concerning the deal, it has been revealed that IPW will broadcast a biweekly taped wrestling program that will air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming.
It should be added that California Wrestling Division, an affiliate of IPW, airs their wrestling broadcast on Adult Swim on Wednesday nights at 11 PM Pacific Standard Time. It is believed that with the success of CWD, Cartoon Network is looking to broaden its wrestling program and with a recommendation from Ethan Roerich, owner of CWD, the deal was all about a done deal from the start.
A joint official press release from Carto on Network and Iconic Media LLC is scheduled for some time this afternoon.
Adult Swim (stylized as [adult swim] and often abbreviated as [as] since 2003) is the adult-oriented nighttime programming block of the American children's subscription network Cartoon Network and programmed by Williams Street Productions. It broadcasts every night from 8 p.m.- 6 a.m. (Eastern and Pacific Time). Taken from IPWFanz.com
