Crumb Rating for the overall Shows (0-5):****
Favorite Match(s): IPW Tag Team Championship match: Jason Dave and Scott Wilson vs. The BombTrax and IPW Television Championship match: Krahe vs Oliver Black.
(I would have picked the Oliver vs Krahe match as a favorite win or lose because it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.)
Favorite Promo: This is a tough call I have a top 5 favs: DGS, Bombtrax, Shyla, Willie Pete, and Oliver Black (1)
(Going to save my thoughts on the promos for the closing thoughts.)
Favorite Segment(s): Willie Pete trying to poison Krahe, Cross/Aaron Koston contract, and Scott Wilson/Jason Dave confronting The Bombtrax in Taps office
These were the segments that stood out to me the most, but I truly enjoyed all the segments and work that went into this show.
Most Shocking Outcome(s): Honestly, there were a few matches where I was confident in who would win based on Promos, but when I started reading the actual matches it felt like any given Sunday. In my opinion, this is the mark of a truly well-written match. I was surprised when Drake lost to Blaise.
Most Memorable Moment(s): Willie puking all over the dressing room, Krahe winning the title, Youth making an incest joke in Tap’s office, Kostan being forced to sign the contract, The Bombtrax pulling one over on Jason Dave/Scott Wilson, and Munin leashing Astrid.
MVP of the Show(s): I feel like everyone that put work in their promos, cd work, and segments leading up to this show should be recognized.
Overall Thoughts: I truly loved this cycle.
You can see some storylines and feuds developing, and those that already exist being pushed forward. Even better I truly feel there was a lot of character development this cycle in promos and seg, which makes me feel more invested in the characters and their stories.
This show wasn't loaded down with segments, but I feel like every segment had its purpose and was perfectly placed. Also as I stated before there were a number of excellent matches, so a big shout out to everyone that put work into that.
Side note the DGS and Shyla Promos were very impressive. Not only were they excellent execution and skill but in the development of characters.
While The Bombtrax promo made me feel like I was watching an episode of my favorite TV show rather than reading a promo.
Willie Pete has me eating up everything he posts, because I never know what to expect next. The character is one of those larger than life comedic characters, yet at the same time there is a very gritty human element to him. I can't wait to see him continue to develope as he tries to kill Krahe and take on new challengers.
I learned a long time ago not to drink when reading anything Press writes, because I end up choking on it when I laugh. Now I will start applying the same rule to Willie.

Crumb Rating for the overall Shows (0-5): 4.5
Favorite Match(s): I'm going to go with Krahe vs Black. I liked the use of the time limit to build the drama in the match, something that hasn't been done in real wrestling in a long time.
Favorite Promo: For the most part, I liked everyone's RP's this cycle. DGS & Shyla are making some interesting stories and I'm excited to see where that goes. Recoba and Kostan were interesting as well. If I were to have to hand out a favorite though, it would probably be Krahes.
Favorite Segment(s): I can't really pick one. I feel like every segment for this show was deliberate, which is exactly what you want as you build to a big show like Civil War. I think I'd have to say Willie Pete and Bobby Benson was pretty great. Also Munin muzzling Astrid.
Most Shocking Outcome(s): A couple of losses came out of nowhere. After better understanding the circumstances, it comes less as a shock.
Most Memorable Moment(s): Pete trying to poison Krahe. Krahe dethroning Oliver Black. Kostan and Recoba's contract signing.
MVP of the Show(s): Zachariah Krahe
Overall Thoughts: I gave the show high marks because like I said for the segments, this show had a deliberate feel to it. While everyone hates a loss, it does open up opportunities for other things, and can advance the story for others.
For instance, Recoba and Kostan both picking up victories along with the segment work is giving that match a big fight feel.
I can't wait to see how Oliver Black responds to having lost the TV title. I absolutely believe a rematch between those two is PPV quality.
Astrid brought the fight to the interlopers alongside Jason Dave & Scott Wilson a show ago, and on this show it played out like The Empire Strikes Back. Those confrontations at Civil War are now dripping with stakes.
Rissi is still engaged in her campaign for the World Title picture but is at the mercies of Holloway, who in her own right, has unleashed her husband on the ranks.
What plans does Bobby Benson have for a cynical Willie Pete, and how will Kip Classic factor into The Family?
What is everyone else going to be doing and thinking as we get closer to a show that should shed some light when and where the Heavyweight Championship Tournament is going to begin? How many more folks are going to come out of the woodwork to try for that? All good questions, and ones that should be fun to find out as we continue on this ride together.
