IPW newest signee, Florence-Marie is seen walking out with a smile on her face out of Joshua Samson's office. She holds the contract that she had just signed on the dotted line moments ago. She is met with cameras and staff as she walks into the hall, with her long braid swinging behind her. It pretty much had a mind of it's own, so if you were behind her you could classify that as the danger zone.
Florence-Marie:
QUI AURAIT PENSÉ?
She smiles in disbelief of her achievement. By nature, she reacts in her first language, although she does acknowledge especially by the confused stares that no one had any idea what she was talking about. All they could tell by her expression was that she was happy, so they smiled back like fools. She could probably say anything and they would smile and nod. Curiosity getting the best of her, Florence-Marie gave it a shot.
Florence-Marie:
Aussi dégoûtants que soient les Américains, j’ai décidé de signer avec IPW dans l’espoir de leur apprendre les meilleurs moyens d’être les Canadiens, mais plus précisément les Québécois.
Florence spoke, her words being nasty but her expression staying bright. Therefore all those around her smiled and laughed around her, not knowing of her insults. There was just something about the French language, she supposed, that just sounded nice. Some would say romantic, although she didn't see it in the same light.
Florence-Marie:
In all seriousness though, I want to take a moment while I still can to just truly appreciate this moment and to thank all of the staff at Iconic. When I was a little girl, I would turn on the TV and my favourite thing to do was to tune in and watch wrestling. While most people often called it the toilet break, watching the women's part was always my favourite part of the show. While they weren't always the most talented, as women I could relate to their struggles and what they were was something I could aspire to be someday. I could relate to them, but not all the time because as much as we say looks don't matter I would look around at the roster and I didn't really see people that looked like me. Every now and then I would, but it wasn't really that well represented in comparison to the American ideal... the blonde hair, the blues eyes, the Astrid Sedin type. Or even for the males it would be the brown-haired white man. It isn't just a problem here. It's an industry problem that may not have been as bad as before, but it's still a problem that many don't realize. And me being who I am as a black.... and French-Canadian women I just can't relate to people like Astrid. We do live the same experiences, see life through the same lenses. It doesn't mean that you have to be like someone to cheer them on, to like them, but it makes a difference for confidence when not everyone is the exactly the same, si ça faire de sensé? So me signing this contract isn't just for me and my family back at home, but it's for a whole group of individuals just like me. I was tired of wondering why everyone looked all the same and decided instead of claiming about it, why don't I do something about? I signed this contract because I have been watching Iconic and I wanted to be a part of it's journey, but I knew it was a tad incomplete. It needed an extra... je ne sais pas.. a little bit of Florence-Marie. Most importantly though, I signed this contract because I wanted a little bit of gold. A little bit of ice and when I want something, honey, your girl goes there and gets it..
She finishes, flipping her braid in the front. Florence-Marie grabs a hold of it and starts to swing it in a circular motion, strutting down the IPW hallway and out of the arena.

TRANSLATION: I don't know if this is necessary, but to save all those that are interested but don't understand Florence. The first line she says, "Who would have thought?" The second paragraph spoken in French she has a little fun with the idea that most don't understand her, therefore insults Americans (just a character thing, not personal) and says that she is here to teach them the better way of doing things- the Canadian way, but more precisely the Quebecois way- which is basically just French Canadian. (If this is unnecessary, please let me know so I don't look like a fool, lol)
"Si ca faire de sense" - if that makes any sense.
"Je ne sais pas" - I don't know.
