Now that we have a plump roster I was thinking that we would get the ball rolling here very soon. Since IPW is new OOC, I want to make it just as new IC wise as well. If anyone follows me (or sees) my tweets on Twitter than you know Samson is slowly putting together the funds and all the other things that come with establishing a fledgling wrestling company. IC we have no building or locale truly set (but word is that it will be in Santa Monica while occasionally touring metro L.A. area) so the early stages will be a series of traveling "house shows".
I what to field the idea with everyone on whether or not these "house shows" should be RP based, simply storylined/angled, or both? I know the majority of everyone is familiar with my style of writing/booking but for those that aren't I was thinking that these house shows would get those that aren't familiar. Also the house shows will/can be used to set up angles and feuds. Once we all decide on whether the house shows will be RP/storyline/both I'll let everyone Know RP limit/word count.
Let me Know, everyone.

My Thoughts on This. Is they should be both. People Can rp for the matches and then if the two handlers that are facing each other can get together and determine a storyline win and or loss then more power to people. I like feds where people work together. Meaning two handlers get together to put on the best storyline possible. But then there are times when I just simply want to compete and I am sure others feel the same way. Making the matches rp based will show what the fed has. It will also allow you to evaluate talent and place them in future title hunts. When recruiting seeing people roleplaying for matches and results being posted will make more people want to join. So really all in all I am up for either though I am itching to rp. I have not have had a fed for Maddox to compete in a long time. Maddox is my older character and have not really aged him. But in the efed circle I am in now he is not used at all really anymore at least seriously. So looking forward to hearing other peoples opinions on this. =)

Also to make it clear the options in question are only for the house shows. Once the official show (Chaos) is established, it will be RP based.

Im dittoing the above opinion. As much as I love ur results I'd still like some sort of say in them (I.e. rplying). Plus I have a lot of good ideas i was ready to use in my future anarchy world title feud that are just now sitting here. I cliff hangered misfits death and then bam feds closed haha.
So I'd say have them rply based but since it's a house show make them small. Like 1 max low word count. No novels.

Still looking for EVERYONE'S input on this. In the meantime, the first Metal house show will be fully booked no later than this Friday, though it should be tomorrow.

If competitive RPing is the plan for the main shows, do it for the house shows to start up too. I agree this would also help with recruiting. Of course I would say treat it like any other RP fed where if the opponents get some kind of story together, and both agree to put one over, go with that.

So with Metal card up and posted, we've decided that the majority wins and house shows will be RP based. I am also of the mind that certain matches(results) can be angled if agreed upon by both handlers. Just let me know ahead of time what's planned and I'll go with it.
