IPW is emphatically denying reports that Corey Lazarus has walked out on the company. Rumors began swirling since last week that the English wrestler became frustrated by the creative plan for him on Chaos “An IPW Thanksgiving” and exited the Barker Hangar immediately after the show went on the air.
According to The Ringside Observer, IPW reportedly called an audible near the end of the match and decided to have Lazarus score a surprising win over Aaron Kostan to become the new Heavyweight Champion but would not be walking out as the new champion. Lazarus became upset after the match was ruled a Non-Title match by IPW Owner, Joshua Samson, Esquire.
Although IPW is denying the rumors in the strongest possible terms, Lazarus has been noticeably absent from social media. His Twitter account has been dormant since November 26 when he cryptically tweeted his what is perceived to be his farewell.
Lazarus is booked to wrestle IPW Heavyweight Champion Number One Contender, Stasi Herveaux, at the upcoming Chaos broadcast this Sunday December 9th.

According to WrestlingIsReal.com, Iconic Professional Wrestling is in talks with SyFy, TruTV, and WGN for a national television deal.
On the WrestlingIsReal Livecast, Tony Baloney and Andrew Blanchard discussed the IPW situation and revealed that a source within IPW said that IPW was trying to get their spot back on primetime but Heroes & Icons wouldn’t give it to them. The source also said that IPW is in discussions with several networks including TruTV, WGN, and SyFy.
IPW is trying to make a move from regional broadcasting and secure a national deal with another network. If they can’t, they will stay on the late night timeslot with KDOC which broadcasts on the Heroes & Icons network.

With Chaos “Christmas Clash” set to take place in just over two weeks, there is still plenty on the card yet to be announced. One rumor that is going around and could still happen is the introduction of Iconic Professional Wrestling Tag Team Championships. According to multiple sources, this is going to happen sooner or later and in fact, was originally scheduled to go down around the Helloween time frame, however, the company postponed it.
