Iconic Professional Wrestling Joshua Samson, Esquire led a mandatory meeting and gave a speech to the wrestlers this morning, according to Wrestling Insider. The speech was said to be very positive.
Samson reportedly said the company accomplished what they set out to do in 2018. He said it was a "learning experience" for IPW following the first six months of its existence, but 2019 was about getting them in position for the future. Samson added that everyone is optimistic an enthusiastic for what it coming for the company in 2019.
Samson touted the television/multimedia growth with deals with Heroes & Icons, Adult Swim, Amazon Prime, and now Facebook. Regarding Metal moving to Facebook Watch this coming March, Samson said one of the reasons was so that IPW would not have to relinquish full content rights versus what a traditional television deal would have consisted of.
The roster was allowed to ask Samson questions during the meeting and one had to do with the rumors on IPW possibly being sold to California Wrestling. Samson assured everyone that this is not the case, and that they should not be worried about anything like a sale of the company.Taken from IPWFanz.com
