Mitchell: WELCOME EVERYONE TO METAL!!

“Kickstart My Heart” by Motley Crue blares as the web streaming pans about the capacity crowd of about one hundred or so people. Signs, banners, and posters are sprinkled throughout the crowd such as “GET WELL SOON MARISOL”, “MY SIGN MADE IT ON THE AIR!”, and “SUMMER BOYZ RULZ”.

Mitchell: We are streaming live on Facebook Watch from the Iconic Arena located in Santa Monica, California!

The camera finally lands on the commentating table near ringside where the black suit wearing commentator is seated.

Mitchell: Hello, everyone! I’m “Boy Wonder” Tyler Mitchell and I’m going to be your host for the next Iconic Pro Wrestling wrestling filled hour! On behalf of everyone involved in this Iconic endeavour I would like to thank you for your attendance here at the Iconic Arena or if you’re streaming live on Facebook Watch! We’re here to make history!!

Crowd: IPW! IPW! IPW!

Mitchell: First match on the agenda will be the debuting Oliver Rhodes as she is forced by orders of the IPW co-owner, Brooklyn Holloway, to wrestle the likes of the Disaster Squad, Tyr and Balder, all by herself. I have seen plenty of handicap matches and sure there is a possibility that the lone competitor can succeed but I just don’t foresee Olivia coming out of this with the victory. There’s just no way.

Tyler looks down at his notes for a moment before giving his attention back to the camera.

Mitchell: In our main event tonight, we’ll have a Triple Threat Tag Team match for the recently vacant IPW Tag Team Championship! Earlier this month Royal Controversy, Marisol Hawkes and Timothy Hunt, had to relinquish the titles due to Marisol having to have immediate surgery upon her back. We’d like to wish Marisol on a speedy recovery.

Tyler clears his throat before continuing.

Mitchell: The teams of the Headhunters, Eric and Dexter Calloway, Savoir Faire, Cherie and Victoire, and the Summer Boyz, Bill and Don Summer, will duke it out to crown the second Tag Team Champions in IPW history!

Crowd: IPW! IPW! IPW!

Mitchell: So now that we have all that out of the way, let’s jump right into some IPW Metal action!


Torres: The following is a TAG TEAM HANDICAP and DEBUT match scheduled for ONE FALL with a FIFTEEN MINUTE time limit!

The siren state of ”Salute” by Little Mix begins playing through the PA system in the arena as it is filled with purple and turquoise lights. The fans get on their feet as they wait for the grand entrance of one, Olivia Rhodes. When the lyrics start, Olivia comes out from behind the black curtain, she has her head held high as she walks to the top of the ramp while holding her robe out to the side as the fans instantly start to boo her. Once at the top of the stage extends her arms out to the side, smirking from ear to ear as she soaks in all the energy from the fans before doing a slow 360-degree turn. She lingers there for a few moments before she starts to make her way down the ramp. As she struts down towards the ring, her hands continue to hold out the sides of her robe

♫It's who we are
We don't need no camouflage
It's the female federal
And we're taking off
If you with me, women lemme hear you say♫

Olivia reaches the bottom and undoes the robe, tossing it gently to the side as the chorus of the song begins to play. Olivia heads off to the right hand side and does a walkover in the middle before hopping onto the ring apron. She remains on her knees before stepping under the middle rope. She looks out at the crowd with her hands out to her sides again before heading off to the corner and climbing up the turnbuckle where she raises them once again. After hopping down she goes over to the opposite turnbuckle and repeats the same pose before getting down and leaning against the ropes as her entrance music faded away and she waits for her opponent.

Mitchell: While Olivia Rhodes is no stranger to the IPW faithful, as she has made countless appearances on Chaos, this will be her official in-ring wrestling debut for the company. Unfortunately, that debut pits her by herself against two of the biggest Icons in IPW due to a punishment handed down by co-owner Brooklyn Holloway.

The lights go out in the Arena as smoke begins to billow. Three single white spotlights shine on the centre, left and the right of the stage, as ”Ameno” by Era begins playing over the PA System. Hel in the middle, Balder on the left and Tyr on the Right. As the three are finally raised the lights go out, then a burst of red Pyro goes off behind them, as ”Viking Death March” by Billy Talent goes off. Hel takes the first step forward, as her two monsters, begin walking down behind her. The fans begin to boo them, as Hel marches, Tyr & Balder behind her.

Torres: Ladies and Gentlemen, from the Underworld, representing the disaster Squad, weighing 305 lbs. accompanied by Hel & Tyr, this is Balder.

Tyr and Balder climb up on to the ring apron as Hel points for her two monsters to get into the ring as she hops up between them. They hold the ropes open for her, as the fans continued to boo. Hel slides underneath the bottom rope as the boys climb up on the ring ropes, posing as the fans boo. Hel points at her two boys as they step down, they step back as they watch for their opponents to come out and start shaking.

Mitchell: The Disaster Squad has been on somewhat of a depressing losing streak since joining the ranks of the Metal roster. For Icons of their size, a lot more was expected from them.

Suddenly the lights go out as the pulsating opening beat of "Da Baddest Bitch" by Trina hit the speakers.

Mitchell: What in the hell is this?!

Smoke starts to billow out, covering the stage, and the lights begin a strobing effect as the lyrics start up...

"Who's bad? Who's, who's bad?
Who's bad? Who's, who's bad?
(Sh*t I'm the baddest bitch)
Who's bad? Who's, who's bad?
Who's bad? Who's, who's bad?"

Fierce stomps out to the entrance stage, middle fingers extended to a crowd that fails to appreciate her greatness. She strides down to ringside, trading expletives with the fans all the way down, and almost throwing a punch, were it not for security. She turns, being sure to warn that fan that he's lucky, quickly gets up the ring steps and up the turnbuckle in time for the third chorus. Posing arrogantly, she drops down in the ring, ready to go to war, as the song fades out.

Mitchell: Uh, ladies and gentlemen, I believe this is Fierce. She has been on the IPW roster for awhile now but has been busy with her duties in Continental Wrestling Academy serving in a bodyguard capacity. Why is she out here though?

Olivia Rhodes suspiciously looks upon Fierce. The two begin to talk between them and Fierce can be heard saying, “a loyal friend sent me”. Seemingly satisfied with that, Olivia steps into the ring to start things off against Balder, laughing at the expected situation that just unfolded. Balder seems to be rather annoyed by this.

Mitchell: So it seems that this won’t be a handicap match after all! Fierce will be making her in-ring debut here tonight as well alongside Olivia. This makes me wonder what Brooklyn Holloway feels about this turn of events?

The referee then calls for the bell, making the match officially underway.

DING DING DING!!!

---Tag Team Handicap Match: Debut Match: Olivia Rhodes vs. The Disaster Squad (Tyr and Balder)---

Olivia and Balder both step toward the middle of the ring, ready to get the match started. The two circle around one another for just a moment, Balder steps forward and blasts Olivia in the mouth with a hard right hand. He follows it up with a second and then a third, knocking Olivia back against the ropes. He shoots Olivia across the ring before launching Olivia into the air for a back body drop! Olivia pulls herself back up to her feet and immediately gets kicked in the face with a big boot!

Olivia crawls over to the ropes to try and regain control of the match, Balder trying to take a moment to enjoy the response of the crowd. Unfortunately, the fans boo the fact that he's gaining a bit of momentum on the clear favorite in the match. Balder tries to ignore this and steps toward Olivia. Rhodes nails Balder with a European uppercut and then a second. Balder stumbles back. Olivia charges and hits Balder with a lunging clothesline!

Mitchell: WOOHOO!! What a massive lunging clothesline from Olivia!

Balder tries to pull himself back up to his feet. Olivia runs over and nails him with a knee shot that sends him staggering around. She pulls Balder in and tries to get him into position for a sitout neckbreaker. Balder shoves Olivia away and causes her to bounce off of the ropes. When Olivia comes back on the rebound, Balder lifts her into the air for a side slam! He then hooks the leg for the cover.

Two...

T...KICK OUT!

Olivia slowly pulls herself back up to her feet. Balder looks over at Fierce and begs for her to get in the ring. The fans cheer at the thought, Fierce calling for Olivia to tag her into the match. Olivia goes over toward Fierce to tag her in---only to have Balder grab her from behind and lift Olivia into the air. He slams her down to the mat with a back suplex and hooks the leg.

Two...

T...KICK OUT!

Mitchell: THAT WAS SO CLOSE! I can only imagine the force Olivia hit the canvas. Balder and Tyr are some very, very powerful Icons!

Balder backs up toward his corner of the ring and waits for Olivia to pull herself back up to her feet. Just before Olivia reaches her feet, Tyr reaches into the ring and tags himself into the match! Tyr immediately runs across the ring and nails Olivia with a knee shot that knocks her back into the turnbuckle. Tyr steps back toward the middle of the ring before charging forward and trying to crush Olivia with a splash in the corner! Olivia ducks out of the way at the last possible second. Tyr crashes hard into the turnbuckle! He stumbles around. Olivia leaps into the air and plants Tyr on the mat with a tornado DDT!

Mitchell: Olivia Rhodes absolutely needed that one!

Olivia turns around and hot tags Fierce into the match! Fierce drags Tyr back up to his feet. She nails Tyr in the mouth with a hard right hand and then a second. Tyr stumbles around from the impact. Fierce grabs Tyr and tries to shoot him across the ring. She waits for Tyr to return on the rebound and tries to send the big man crashing to the mat with a clothesline. Tyr ducks underneath the attempt and instead throws himself at Olivia Rhodes, knocking her off the apron!

Tyr slides out to the floor and drags Olivia back up to her feet, throwing her hard into the steel steps! Fierce turns around to try and help her partner, when suddenly Balder steps into the ring and shakes his head. He runs at Fierce and hits her with a hard right hand, Fierce returning the favor. The two Icons continue to brawl with each other in the middle of the ring, the fans cheering loudly!

Mitchell: Tyr is fighting with Olivia, Fierce is fighting with Balder...This is exactly what we expected!

Olivia tries to pull herself back up to her feet outside of the ring. Fierce and Balder continue to brawl back and forth with one another. Neither Icon is able to gain an advantage, the fans cheering the entire time. Tyr suddenly slides back into the ring and charges at Fierce from behind. Fierce turns around and Tyr immediately tries to hit her with a big boot! Fierce ducks under the attempt and Tyr connects with Balder's jaw instead!

Mitchell: OH NO!

Balder falls to the mat and rolls out to the floor. Tyr looks down at his partner with dismay. Olivia reaches into the ring and trips Tyr up before he can do anything else. Fierce charges and connects with Malleus Fortuna (ripcord rolling elbow)! The arena erupts as Fierce covers.

THREE!!

Torres: The winners of this match...Fierce and Olivia Rhodes!!!

Mitchell: Talk about an impressive win! All Fierce and Olivia needed was one little opening and they made the most of it!

Mitchell: Fans… we… what? What the hell is going on?! There’s a commotion in the back!

Backstage, the cameras find Bill Summer laying on the ground as Eric Calloway jabs him in the legs with the back crossbar of a folded steel chair. Dexter Calloway grabs Bill puts on a camel clutch. Eric nails Bill in the legs as he screams, Dexter sitting down on the hold.

Mitchell: My God, the Headhunters are taking out one half of the Summer Boyz prior to the Triple Threat Tag Team Championship match!

Eric nails Bill again in the legs with the chair while Dexter sees if he can pull just a little harder on the camel clutch. Suddenly, security rush in and pull both members of the Headhunters off while trainers attend to the fallen Bill Summer.

Mitchell: Where in the hell is Don Summers?! This was a deplorable act! Just deplorable!

Torres: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL and it is for the ICONIC PRO WRESTLING TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!

Slayer's “God Hates Us All” starts playing and the two Southern brothers, Eric and Dexter Calloway, walk out escorted by Stasi Herveaux. The trio make their way down to the ring, looking just as ready to party as they are to fight, which to them is almost the same thing anyway. The brothers step into the ring, hooping and hollering, ready to go against whoever they have tonight while Stasi stands outside the ring near the corner.

Mitchell: It looks like the Headhunters are being joined by the new Real Champion, Stasi Herveaux. This new regimen doesn’t surprise me in one bit. It’s like a match made in Hell! Also I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind everyone that Bill Summer of the Summer Boyz was brutally attacked by the Headhunters before the commercial as such will not be competing in what was scheduled to be a Triple Threat Tag Team match.

“Girls, Girls, Girls” by Mötley Crew plays as Cheriè is the first to come out, she poses as the music picks up tempo. She then starts dancing down the ramp. Victoire follows after, her lips a straight, unemotional line. Cheriè climbs the ring steps and the raises her leg up on the middle rope before leaning back and posing. She she rises she blows a kiss to the audience before slipping through the ropes. Victoire jumps up onto the apron easily, entering the ring with no emotion.

Mitchell: This rookie team of Savoir Faire were going up against a near impossible task when they had to face both the Summer Boyz and the Headhunters. Now with it being a straight up tag team their chances don’t look as if it’s increased.

DING DING DING!!!

---Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match: The Headhunters (Eric and Dexter Calloway) vs. Savoir Faire (Cheriè and Victoire)---

Eric steps into the ring with Victoire. The two Icons circle each other before locking up in a traditional collar and elbow tie-up. Eric takes a standing armbar and then changes to a hammerlock. Victoire goes for a snapmare but Eric manages to move his head in the nick of time to avoid it. Victoire reaches back again and drops to a seated position for a jawbreaker. Eric clutches at his chin upon impact. Victoire kicks up from her behind, connecting on Eric’s mouth. Eric staggers back. Victoire pops up into a flying clothesline that knocks Eric down. Victoire makes the tag to Cherie. Eric starts to his feet and Cherie jumps for a monkey flip that sends Eric into the neutral corner. Eric bounces off the turnbuckles and Cherie catches him coming out for an inside cradle.

THRE...KICK OUT!!

As they start up, Cherie goes for the reverse chinlock but Eric kicks her off and rolls forward to the ropes. Cherie pops up and Eric jumps into a flying leg lariat that knocks Cherie down hard. Eric grabs Cherie’s legs and jumps over into a bridging cover.

Cherie BRIDGES UP, POWERS OUT AND REVERSES INTO A BACKSLIDE!!!

THRE...KICK OUT!!

Cherie makes the tag to Victoire and then slingshots her sister in. Victoire soars over the top rope and catches Eric with a flying forearm shot to the face that knocks Eric down hard. Victoire jumps on top for the cover.

Eric rolls Victoire OVER INTO A SIDE CRADLE!!!

THRE...KICK OUT!!

Mitchell: What a great sequence of events right off the jump! This Canadian sister duo are definitely looking to get the win over this American brother duo and become the second IPW Tag Team Champions!

Eric delivers a wicked elbow strike to Victoire’s midsection and then rolls her up.

Two...

THRE...KICK OUT!!

Eric rolls to his corner and makes the tag to Dexter. Victoire slowly gets up. Dexter runs over for a spinning heel kick that puts Victoire down. As Dexter stands up, he smirks over at Cherie and shrugs arrogantly. The crowd boos and he can’t smirk proudly enough at them. Dexter takes a small bow before dropping an elbow on Victoire, remaining in place for a cover with that arm.

Victoire SWINGS HER LEGS UP INTO A CRUCIFIX PIN ATTEMPT!!!

One...

Two...

THRE...KICK OUT!!

Mitchell: It must be stated for those that do not know, Savoir Faire have trained under the tutelage of the IPW Heavyweight Champion, 2019 Lady of Chaos Bliss. So it stands to reason these Lady Icons have the stuff to win here tonight.

As they start back up, Dexter hits a clothesline on Victoire and makes the tag to Eric. The older Calloway brother steps in and the Headhunters give Victoire a double kick to the gut. They take double front facelock, nod to each other, and snap Victoire over for vertical suplex. Victoire hits hard and both Eric and Dexter stand up, posing arrogantly for the crowd. Stasi applauds.

Crowd: BOO!!!

Dexter steps to the corner as Eric gives Victoire a leg drop and covers.

Victoire PULLS HER OVER INTO A CRADLE!!!

REVERSAL!!!

Eric rolls over and makes the tag to Dexter. Eric nods to Stasi. The Real Champion hands Eric her title belts. Eric smirks cruelly.

Mitchell: What the hell are they planning?!

Dexter grabs Victoire from behind. Eric runs forward to blast Victoire with the title belt. Victoire is able to duck and Eric bashes Dexter squarely in the face! Stasi stares into the ring in shock as Eric, in equal shock, drops the belt.

Mitchell: Cheaters never prosper! The Headhunters and Stasi were attempting to use Stasi’s Real Champion title belt as an illegal weapon but Eric ends up bashing his brother instead!

Cherie quickly rushes into the ring and and sends Eric tumbling through the ropes from a dropkick. Dexter slowly staggers up. Victoire scoops him up into a Samoan drop while at the same time Cherie runs and connects with a corkscrew neckbreaker at the same time completing the Crème de la crème!

Mitchell: Stick a fork in him! This one has to be over!

THREE!!!

Mitchell: What did we just see? They did it!!! SAVOIR FAIRE HAS DONE IT!!!

Torres: Here are your winners AND NEW Iconic Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions...Cherie and Victoire...Savior Faire!!!

The sisters hastily making it out of the ring as Eric and Stasi clamor into the ring to get at them. The referee hands the new Tag champs the title belts. The Lady Icons raise them into the air as the back their way up the rampway.

Mitchell: Congratulations to Cherie and Victoire on becoming the new IPW Tag Team Champions! You have to think that The Headhunters will not let this go unanswered and with the backing of co-owner Brooklyn Holloway you can bet it won’t!
