I didn't watch the preshow, so I'll start on the main card.
Roman Reigns vs. Brock LesnarShort enough so that it didn't expose the limited movesets of both competitors, and the right person won. I, like many, do not like Roman Reigns. He is a good wrestler and probably the best option currently for the face of the company, I just don't like his small moveset, the spear, or the fact that he insults other wrestlers on twitter sometimes. However, it was his time, Raw needed an active world champion, and thank God Reigns/Lesnar is over. I don't ever want to see it again.
Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles"I can be your new daddy..." was completely unexpected. I'm glad they may be continuing this program. I think Joe could easily be the one to take the title, but it would be weird to be elevated so suddenly. I know he's a "main eventer" kind of, he just often isn't pushed well. It's a lot of start and stop, so being suddenly pushed and winning the title the first match of that push would be strange.
Ronda Rousey vs. Alexa BlissFirst off, the champion is supposed to enter last...everyone knows this. Also, I understand they want to push Rousey as a big deal, but she squashed Alexa and that was just highly uncalled for. Bliss deserved better. Still, the right person won.
Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. CarmellaI liked the way they had Carmella trying to make it look like Flair hit Lynch in the back of the head. I like it even more that Charlotte is now champion. She will always deserve to be champion. And of course that heel turn at the end was great. I think I might have preferred Charlotte being the one to turn though.
Seth Rollins w/ Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Drew McIntyrePhenomenal match between two great wrestlers. I really didn't care who won because either would have been good as intercontinental champion moving forward. I do have to problems with this match. Number one, I KNOW SETH ROLLINS HAD A KNEE INJURY! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO PLAY A FACTOR IN EVERY FREAKIN' SETH ROLLINS MATCH! Number two, I really wanted that Dean Ambrose heel turn. Maybe it'll come tonight.
Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke NakamuraPretty good. I don't have too much to say about this as it was a lot like the matches they've been having together on the live tour, and it was pretty obvious who was going to win anyway. Now Hardy can hopefully take that break to heal up.
New Day vs. Bludgeon BrothersI have no problem with the Bludgeon Brothers being a dominant team, but having to result to getting disqualified was a little sad. This may mark the beginning of the end before Harper and Rowan dissolve back into nothing.
Braun Strowman vs. Kevin OwensThat was to be expected...I still think Kevin (you know, the former Universal Champion) deserves to be booked a little better. What I really want is the Strowman/Owens tag team where Kevin always just acts afraid of Braun. Too bad that never happened.
Finn Balor vs. Baron CorbinGlad to see the demon. Otherwise I didn't care about this match. I was watching it on demand and almost just skipped it. This is another situation where a former universal champion deserved to be booked better.
Daniel Bryan vs. The MizFantastic match with some good spots. Loved them stealing each others moves and such. Miz won in the exact fashion that he needed to win.
